Ward Campout

In August, we went on a ward camp out to Ensign Ranch.  It was a lot of fun and my family came up to spend the night with us.  
As you saw before, the kids love camping, so it was fun to be able to take them again.

We can never do anything normal, like carry the mattress back in our hands.  We must make a game out of it and carry it on our heads!!

The next day, we took the kids to the huge water slide that they have there.  It was freezing, but they didn't care.  They rode down it a few times.  Auntie Kylie was a big help and made sure that Kennedi and Kaden had a good time.  

 Another girl in our ward, Jessica, was so sweet and took Kaden up for his first time.  


Let's just say that he wasn't too fond of the whole thing.  


He sat on my lap almost the rest of the time.

She also went down with Kennedi and she loved it!

Kylie was a champ at riding down...


She even took it like a champ when this happened!

But he chose to stay at the top.  I think he ended up just walking back down.  Funny kid.

It has been a very long time since I have last posted.  Very long.  I have so much catching up to do, but I need to write about a very special little girl and the fact that she is turning TWELVE today.  I first wrote about my story here .  If you have no idea what I am talking about start there.  Read my story.  It was the first time that I really shared my story out in the open for the whole world to read about.  Five years later, so many things have changed.  I have changed.  We have added 2 more beautiful boys to our family.  We are blessed beyond what we could have imagined.  Today, I will be thinking about Alex all day and I will play the events over and over in my head for the next few days. Kaden Wyatt Brower

He is finally here!! Kaden Wyatt Brower was born September 4th, 2008 at 2:21 am. He weighed 8 lbs. 10 oz. and was 21 in long. Everything went very well. He is amazing and Kennedi is a very proud older sister!! I will write more later. We just wanted to get these up for friends and family! Enjoy!
