Summer Splash

 This last Summer, (still catching up) we were invited to a fun get-together with some of the girls that I graduated with.  Jessica and Amy set out pools and toys for the kids and made a delicious lunch for us.  It was so fun to see each others kids and to be able to just visit with each other.

 
This is Jessica's daughter, Kylie.  She is a cute little fire ball with tons of personality!  She is darling!

The kids LOVED playing in the pool.  It was a pretty hot day, so I am sure it felt really good to get wet.


Here we are, almost 10 years later....

 And all with kiddos of our own!

A VERY Significant Day

I am behind on some blogging, but I realized that I won't be able to get all of that done right now before I post this. And, I really want to post this today. Some people get the opportunity to have something so significant in their life happen that changes them forever. I am one of those people. Today is a very special day for me. One of a few very special and significant days for me. I have only been celebrating this day for the past 7 years, but I will celebrate it for the rest of my life. Today is Birthmothers Day. My Story--10 Years

I have many titles, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, etc.  I cherish all of those titles, and try to be the best that I can be in each of those areas.  But, a title that I hold very dear to my heart is the title of "Birthmother".  Almost three years ago, I came "out" to the world that I was a Birthmother.  Close friends and family knew, but I wasn't ready to be so open about it yet.  I finally felt I was ready, and wrote my story HERE .  Please feel free to read it.  It is a long one, but it is the whole story.
