It has been a very long time since I have last posted. Very long. I have so much catching up to do, but I need to write about a very special little girl and the fact that she is turning TWELVE today. I first wrote about my story here . If you have no idea what I am talking about start there. Read my story. It was the first time that I really shared my story out in the open for the whole world to read about. Five years later, so many things have changed. I have changed. We have added 2 more beautiful boys to our family. We are blessed beyond what we could have imagined. Today, I will be thinking about Alex all day and I will play the events over and over in my head for the next few days. Alex is twelve today and that blows my mind. Sometimes I feel like that experience was something that I just lived and other times it seems like forever ago. But, I can't help but continue to ache for her and ache for that re...
I am behind on some blogging, but I realized that I won't be able to get all of that done right now before I post this. And, I really want to post this today. Some people get the opportunity to have something so significant in their life happen that changes them forever. I am one of those people. Today is a very special day for me. But, a title that I hold very dear to my heart is the title of "Birthmother". Almost three years ago, I came "out" to the world that I was a Birthmother. Close friends and family knew, but I wasn't ready to be so open about it yet. I finally felt I was ready, and wrote my story HERE . Please feel free to read it. It is a long one, but it is the whole story. That was three years ago when Alex was seven. Now she is TEN! I have changed a lot in ten years. I am so much more open with my story. I am proud of the woman that I have become and the decisions that I have made in my life to follow my Heavenly Father. I don't care who knows my story now. If they hear it from me, then it is told the right way. Today is Alex's tenth birthday!! Whenever h...
