The Brower Bunch

6 years ago on April 23rd, 2005, I married my best friend.  I would have never guessed how much my life would be filled with this much JOY as we have taken this journey together.   I knew that I was marrying an amazing man, but I didn't realize what an amazing father he would turn out to be.  He helped make my ultimate dream come true of becoming a mother.  6 years later, we have 3 beautiful children who we adore and love more than anything.   I am grateful for our marriage and our relationship that we have today.  I love him more today than I did the day that I was sealed to him for time and all eternity.   In December, when I was sick, he was able to lay his hands upon my head to give me a blessing through the power of the Priesthood.  Through the willingness of the Lord, he was able to heal me.  I will never forget those moments when I could feel his hands touching me as I laid in the hospital barely awake.  I knew that he was there....

Kennedi amazes me.  She is such a girly-girl, but she LOVES to get dirty while playing in the dirt and finding worms.  She often comes to be back door to show us what she has found. I love this little girl, and I am so thankful that she is mine....as long as she doesn't bring her 'finds' in the house! 

You know how when you are in the moment and you hear your kids say something funny and you think, "I will NEVER forget that they said that."   Well, Jerrod just asked me yesterday what Kaden's first word was and I can't remember.  So sad.  Maybe I wrote it somewhere in here a couple of years ago, but I don't really want to look right now.   So, I am going to use this wonderful technology called a blog to help be my memory.   Today Kennedi and Kaden were upstairs in their room playing.  I was cleaning up and over-heard Kennedi say, "Kaden, your guy is named Jerrod and my girl is named Heidi."  They were playing "Heidi and Jerrod"!  It was so cute.  Kennedi was the little Mom who told "Jerrod" what she was doing and told him how to play with the kids.   It is so funny what kids pick up. We had a wonderful Easter this year.  Friday, April 22nd, we decorated eggs with the kids.  They loved it.  It was hard for them to wait patiently for the eggs to dye, but they had so much fun.  The Easter Bunny came and left a few things for Kennedi and Kaden.    I love this next photo.  He was so excited to find his eggs.  Kohen just hanging out, watching the kids find eggs.  Next year, he will get his turn.  Kaden opening his eggs and looking at his yummy treats.   It was a wonderful Easter.  I love celebrating our Savior.  We were able to talk with Kennedi this year about how Easter is really all about Jesus Christ.  She kept talking about how He is alive again.  She is so smart and it makes me want to teach her as much as I can while she is young.   I am so thankful for our Savior, Jesus Christ and His love for us.   "I know that my Redeemer lives."
