The Brower Bunch

Jerrod and I ran The Warrior Dash in July.  We had so much fun.  This run didn't even compare to The Dirty Dash that I ran the week before.  THIS was a MUD run!  The obstacles were great and there was tons and tons of mud!  We already can't wait to run it again next year.   This was the second to last obstacle.  We got to jump over fire pits. We aren't anywhere in this photo, we just took it to show what we were going through.  We had to crawl underneath barbed wire.  This is where I got it the worst. We looked a lot worse, but had already washed off in the fire hose.  SO COLD!!!

In July I discovered my favorite kind of run.  A mud run.  The Dirty Dash was my first mud run and I loved it.  I ran with two of my sisters, Jaela, and Kristen.  We had a blast together.  We kind of wished that there was more mud, but it was still a lot of fun.   Before the race: These guys were our little cheerleaders!  They are getting ready to throw water balloons at us!  After, getting our yummy snacks!

The Fourth of what? you may ask.  The fourth of October...since we are at the end of October right?!?!   Ummm  Nope.   The Fourth of JULY.  We are getting closer though!!  :) We had a great 4th of July this year.  We spent it at the Spencer's home with great friends and great food.  I made this cupcake flag for dessert.  We took some family photos before the kids got too dirty!  The kids enjoyed time with their friends.  Kohen enjoying ice cream.  (Now we know he is allergic to dairy.  Oops.) Super sad that it is gone....  The kids loved watching the fireworks, but didn't love the noise they made.  Some friends playing with sparklers!
