VIP


At Kennedi's preschool, they don't celebrate birthdays because they don't want the Summer birthdays to feel left out, instead they get to have a "VIP Day".  It is so fun.  Kennedi brought five things as a "show and tell" to tell her class a little bit more about herself and then the kids asked her questions.  She also got a crown and a balloon and marched the class around the room while her teacher played the song, "I'm a VIP".  She got to bring a sweet snack.  She chose powdered doughnut holes.  It got all over the kids' lips and they laughed and laughed.  Here are the photos from that day....














I love this photo of us.  My baby girl is growing up so fast!

A VERY Significant Day

I am behind on some blogging, but I realized that I won't be able to get all of that done right now before I post this. And, I really want to post this today. Some people get the opportunity to have something so significant in their life happen that changes them forever. I am one of those people. Today is a very special day for me. My Story--10 Years

I have many titles, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, etc.  I cherish all of those titles, and try to be the best that I can be in each of those areas.  But, a title that I hold very dear to my heart is the title of "Birthmother".  Almost three years ago, I came "out" to the world that I was a Birthmother.  Close friends and family knew, but I wasn't ready to be so open about it yet.  I finally felt I was ready, and wrote my story HERE .  Please feel free to read it.  It is a long one, but it is the whole story.
