A Boomer Sooner New Year

We didn't really do much on New Year's Eve thanks to our 3 beautiful children.  No, really though...we wouldn't have it any other way.  We had another amazing meal made by Jerrod.  Mitch and Susie were here to help celebrate.  Jerrod and Mitch would be taking Jaela to BYU-Idaho on the 2nd.  

New Year's Day we got dressed up for our Oklahoma team and watched them win the Fiesta Bowl! 
We love our Sooners, but mostly I think I love getting our kids dressed up for it because they are so adorable!

It was so fun having Mitch and Susie here for a little while.  Susie stayed with me to help out while Jerrod and Mitch were gone.  Kennedi LOVED having Nana here.

A VERY Significant Day

I am behind on some blogging, but I realized that I won't be able to get all of that done right now before I post this. And, I really want to post this today. Some people get the opportunity to have something so significant in their life happen that changes them forever. I am one of those people. Today is a very special day for me. My Story--10 Years

I have many titles, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, etc.  I cherish all of those titles, and try to be the best that I can be in each of those areas.  But, a title that I hold very dear to my heart is the title of "Birthmother".  Almost three years ago, I came "out" to the world that I was a Birthmother.  Close friends and family knew, but I wasn't ready to be so open about it yet.  I finally felt I was ready, and wrote my story HERE .  Please feel free to read it.  It is a long one, but it is the whole story.
