Rub-A-Dub-Dub, Three Toddlers in a Tub

Last week, two of Kennedi's good friends, Riley and William came over to play. It was a gorgeous fall day, so they took advantage of the weather and played in the sand box. It was so much fun to see the three of them play so well together. We tried implementing a "keep the sand in the box" type of rule, but if you know anything about 2 year olds, you know that that didn't happen!! Sand was everywhere! What can you do???!!! Just sit, and smile as you watch them have so much fun!

Kennedi was not very happy when Riley was trying to "wash" her hair with the sand. You can't blame Riley...her mother is a hair dresser!!


Cute William...100% BOY! They tried eating crackers while playing in the sand...they found out it wasn't such a good idea after all.

Of course, no Mommy wants to take home a baby full of sand, so we threw them all in the bath tub!! They had a blast splashing and playing.

and once again, Kennedi is crying about it! I guess she wants to be the one washing!

But, all is well! They ended the day with lots of fun splashes!

It really was a lot of fun for us all. There was about a cup of sand that I swept up from my floor and probably about the same amount that got washed down the bathtub drain. But, I really, really just loved watching them have fun. I would sweep up that amount again any day. So, Riley and William, come back over for another day of sand and tub time!

A VERY Significant Day

I am behind on some blogging, but I realized that I won't be able to get all of that done right now before I post this. And, I really want to post this today. Some people get the opportunity to have something so significant in their life happen that changes them forever. I am one of those people. Today is a very special day for me. My Story--10 Years

I have many titles, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, etc.  I cherish all of those titles, and try to be the best that I can be in each of those areas.  But, a title that I hold very dear to my heart is the title of "Birthmother".  Almost three years ago, I came "out" to the world that I was a Birthmother.  Close friends and family knew, but I wasn't ready to be so open about it yet.  I finally felt I was ready, and wrote my story HERE .  Please feel free to read it.  It is a long one, but it is the whole story.
