The Fourth

The Fourth of what? you may ask.  The fourth of October...since we are at the end of October right?!?!  
Ummm  Nope.  
The Fourth of JULY. 
We are getting closer though!!  :)

We had a great 4th of July this year.  We spent it at the Spencer's home with great friends and great food. 

I made this cupcake flag for dessert.


 We took some family photos before the kids got too dirty!







 The kids enjoyed time with their friends.

 Kohen enjoying ice cream.  (Now we know he is allergic to dairy.  Oops.)


Super sad that it is gone....


 The kids loved watching the fireworks, but didn't love the noise they made.

A VERY Significant Day

I am behind on some blogging, but I realized that I won't be able to get all of that done right now before I post this. And, I really want to post this today. Some people get the opportunity to have something so significant in their life happen that changes them forever. I am one of those people. Today is a very special day for me. My Story--10 Years

I have many titles, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, etc.  I cherish all of those titles, and try to be the best that I can be in each of those areas.  But, a title that I hold very dear to my heart is the title of "Birthmother".  Almost three years ago, I came "out" to the world that I was a Birthmother.  Close friends and family knew, but I wasn't ready to be so open about it yet.  I finally felt I was ready, and wrote my story HERE .  Please feel free to read it.  It is a long one, but it is the whole story.
