School's Out for the Summer

Okay, so I am blogging about the last day of school in October, but you know me.  I am just now catching up.

Kennedi LOVED preschool.  In fact, she was pretty sad that it was over for the Summer.  She loves Mrs. Spencer and couldn't wait to get back to school this year.  It was so fun to watch how much she progressed in one school year.  I enjoyed so much being able to help out every once in a while to observe Kennedi in her "own environment".  She was a very good student with many friends.

A VERY Significant Day

I am behind on some blogging, but I realized that I won't be able to get all of that done right now before I post this. And, I really want to post this today. Some people get the opportunity to have something so significant in their life happen that changes them forever. I am one of those people. Today is a very special day for me. One of a few very special and significant days for me. I have only been celebrating this day for the past 7 years, but I will celebrate it for the rest of my life. Today is Birthmothers Day. Yes, I am a birthmother. I know that most of you do know this about me, but there are some of you who don't know and this will come as a shock to you. My Story--10 Years

I have many titles, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, etc.  I cherish all of those titles, and try to be the best that I can be in each of those areas.  But, a title that I hold very dear to my heart is the title of "Birthmother".  Almost three years ago, I came "out" to the world that I was a Birthmother.  Close friends and family knew, but I wasn't ready to be so open about it yet.  I finally felt I was ready, and wrote my story HERE .  Please feel free to read it.  It is a long one, but it is the whole story.
