Zoo

A couple of weekends ago, we took the kids to the Zoo on a beautiful day.  The sun was shining and the kids were smiling.  Overall, it was a great day.  The kids had a great time looking at the animals, and we had an even better time watching our kids have fun.



This was the closest that we had ever been to a hippopotamus.  It was so neat to watch him open his mouth to get a drink.











Kennedi was obsessed with the map.  She was always wanting to know where we were going next.  She kept pointing out different directions and didn't want to let go of the map!  

















Okay, I know that some of these are out of order, but my Mac won't let me fix the problem.  So, there you have it.

What a wonderful outing! Your kiddos are so adorable. It brings back memories of when Jenna was Kennedi's age and obsessed with maps. Especially at the Zoo, they must have a really good map :)

A VERY Significant Day

I am behind on some blogging, but I realized that I won't be able to get all of that done right now before I post this. And, I really want to post this today. Some people get the opportunity to have something so significant in their life happen that changes them forever. I am one of those people. Today is a very special day for me. My Story--10 Years

I have many titles, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, etc.  I cherish all of those titles, and try to be the best that I can be in each of those areas.  But, a title that I hold very dear to my heart is the title of "Birthmother".  Almost three years ago, I came "out" to the world that I was a Birthmother.  Close friends and family knew, but I wasn't ready to be so open about it yet.  I finally felt I was ready, and wrote my story HERE .  Please feel free to read it.  It is a long one, but it is the whole story.
