A Sunbeam in Our Family!

Happy New Year to everyone!
We are excited about this new year that is ahead of us. We already have had one exciting thing happen in our family....Kennedi is now in Primary! For those of you who don't know, in our church, kids from ages 3-11 go to what is called Primary. This is where they are separated in their classes by age and they learn things about Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. They get to sing and have fun. Kennedi's class is called the "Sunbeams". Up until this month, Kennedi has been going to Nursery. So, moving up to Primary is a big step for her! She was a little apprehensive at first, but she did just great. After church she was so happy and even said that she liked being a Sunbeam better than going to the nursery! Now, I just can't wait until they get to sing a song during Sacrament meeting!

If you notice, Kaden's leg looks a little weird. That is because he only stood still like this for about .02 seconds right before he ran off. Thankfully we have a great camera that snaps photos in those .02 seconds!

When he ran off, he thought it was the funniest thing, so we got this great smile of his.

I love getting great photos of us, and I really do love these next two.

A VERY Significant Day

I am behind on some blogging, but I realized that I won't be able to get all of that done right now before I post this. And, I really want to post this today. Some people get the opportunity to have something so significant in their life happen that changes them forever. I am one of those people. Today is a very special day for me. One of a few very special and significant days for me. I have only been celebrating this day for the past 7 years, but I will celebrate it for the rest of my life. Today is Birthmothers Day. My Story--10 Years

I have many titles, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, etc.  I cherish all of those titles, and try to be the best that I can be in each of those areas.  But, a title that I hold very dear to my heart is the title of "Birthmother".  Almost three years ago, I came "out" to the world that I was a Birthmother.  Close friends and family knew, but I wasn't ready to be so open about it yet.  I finally felt I was ready, and wrote my story HERE .  Please feel free to read it.  It is a long one, but it is the whole story.
