5 Wonderful Years

Image
On April 23, we celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary.  I had previously scheduled something that I had to be out of town for, so Jerrod was kind enough to let us celebrate a day late.  I can't believe that I did that, but Jerrod said that it was okay as long as he got his "one bogie" in life.  I got home Saturday to a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a yummy dinner being cooked.  Jerrod also made a DELICIOUS cheesecake.  It was SO good.  We had already decided that we weren't going to get anything for each other because we were about to take our CA trip.  After dinner, we decided to go watch "Date Night".  That was a funny movie.  I can't believe that it has already been 5 years.  It seems like it has not been that long, but at the same time, it feels like time has flown by.  I really am so, so lucky to have met and fallen in love with such an amazing man.  I never thought that I would get so lucky.  He is my best...

Vancouver, BC Temple Trip

Image
In April, we took a quick trip up to Vancouver, BC Canada to visit the Vancouver Temple open house. Before a temple is dedicated, it is open to the public to come and see inside.  We went up on a Monday night and came back home Tuesday afternoon.  It was a very quick trip, but so fun and very worth it.  Our hotel had an amazing water slide that was a lot of fun.  Jerrod and Jaela came down it so fast, but the pansy in me got the best of me and I did all that I could to prevent from going that fast.  After playing in the pool for a little while, we took a quick drive to see the temple at night.  It was beautiful.   When we got out of the car, Kennedi was so excited.  She said, "Mom, this is the temple and Jesus will help me go there someday!"  I couldn't help the tears welling up in my eyes.  What a pure and simple testimony of a 3 1/2 year old girl.  She just amazes me.  I love this photo of our family outlined. Tuesday morn...

Don't Disturb a Princess

Image
One day I found this. Reclined, sleeping in her princess gown.   She slept there for a while. I wasn't about to wake the sleeping princess.   It probably wouldn't have been a good idea if she is anything like the Queen of the house.  :)

I'm BAAAAAAAAACK!

Okay, I have heard enough.  I know that you all love me and can't wait to hear from us everyday, so here is finally a post....from Easter.  Yes, I know that it was a while ago.  At least I am doing it now.  I promise to do better.  I have a few posts lined up for a few days, so keep tuned in!  I promise I won't disappoint you...at least not for another few weeks.  :) EASTER 2010 One night when I was gone, probably Friday night or something, Jerrod and Jaela did eggs with the kids.  I think they had a lot of fun.  Here are some pictures to prove it.... Sunday morning, we woke up early so the kids could do their Easter Bunny thing and look for eggs before we left for Ellensburg.  We wanted to make sure that we were there before Conference started, so we had to get up extra early.  It was fun watching them look for eggs in the house.  They loved it.  Kennedi loves The Princess and the Frog.  It is such a cute movie...

Just Kidding Mom!!! --Love Bean

So, apparently our little Bean wants to be inside me as long as possible.  I feel as though I may be pregnant forever.  I say this because I KNOW that this baby has been waiting to come to our family for a VERY long time.  I have been feeling this very strongly ever since October or so.  I kept sending my thoughts "out there" to him/her to let him/her know that I understood that he/she wanted to come, but that I wasn't quite ready yet.  So, in December, we found out that I was pregnant, but within in days, we lost that pregnancy.  We don't know why, but I know that something wasn't right or developing properly and it was my body's natural way of taking care of it.  When I did find out that time that I was pregnant, we got really excited that it was finally time for baby Brower #3.  When I lost that one, I still felt very strongly that there was a little spirit still waiting to come to our family.  I had a regular "cycle" in the month of Janua...

Crazy Love

I have been to 8 concerts.  I have seen some great shows, I have even been in the 8th row at Tim McGraw (which was incredible and so much fun) but I must say that Michael Buble is one AMAZING performer.  Even sitting in the back of Key Arena was still just wonderful watching his concert.  I was giddy the whole time and really thought it was amazing.  He is a great entertainer and it was better than I even expected.  Thanks so much, Babe for getting those tickets.  I think that you even enjoyed it!!   Yup, he is kissing my cheek.  Jerrod was okay with it.  He is the one that took the picture!  :)                                             Oh, wait a minute...that was a poster?!?  I think Jerrod wanted to let him know that I was taken. Before the show So, needless to say, next time Michael comes around these p...

A Great Weekend Ahead

Sometimes in life everything just comes at you at once.  Well, this weekend is one of those great times where lots of great things are going to happen.  So, let me give you what is going to happen in my weekend. 1. Saturday General Conference.   I can't wait.  The older I get, the more I love General Conference.  I love hearing what the Lord's Prophet and Apostles and leaders of the Church have to say to us.  It isn't that I really learn anything new, it is just that I ALWAYS hear things in the way that my Heavenly Father wants me to hear them at that time in my life.  So, for that, I can't wait to hear what the Lord wants me to hear. 2. Hot date with my hubby, PF Chang, and Michael Buble'.  Okay, well, really it is a hot date with my hubby, but I am pretty dang excited about the other two components of this date.  So, tomorrow after the afternoon session of Conference, we will get ready to go out together. Alone. Just him and me. No kid...
