Officially "Old"

Today my siblings managed to make me officially feel old.
For Christmas, they got Singstar Country which is a karoke game for the Playstation. To make a long story short, they got the wrong microphones, so while we were shopping today, we saw a package deal of 2 microphones, a converter and the "Singstar '90s" game. Naturally, becuase I grew up in the 90's, I thought it would be so much fun. Seeing titles like "Opposites Attract", "Step by Step", "Motownphilly", and "Ice Ice Baby" got me SO EXCITED. I couldn't wait until I could sing my heart out to songs that I grew up with. I mean, these were songs that I made up dances to and performed them for people. It was really the only time in my life where I really thought that I could sing. (Yeah, we all really know the truth.)
When we got home, they broke open the Country one, where they knew almost every word to every song. I will admit, that I am not completely familiar with a few of them. That was problem number one.
I finally talked them into playing "90's" with me. As we strolled through the songs, Jerrod and I kept busting out with the words that we remembered so clearly from our youth. Probably problem number two.
After we sang a couple of songs, my 16 year old brother said the thing that summed it all up for me.... "I didn't know ANY OF THOSE SONGS!"
Yeah...and that was when I realized that I am now officially "old".

Welcome to OLD... *sigh*... what can I say? With my YW the other night we were driving home and REGULATORS came on, by Warren G and my girls were like "WHAT is THIS??" ouch

It has been a very long time since I have last posted.  Very long.  I have so much catching up to do, but I need to write about a very special little girl and the fact that she is turning TWELVE today.  I first wrote about my story here .  If you have no idea what I am talking about start there.  Read my story.  It was the first time that I really shared my story out in the open for the whole world to read about.  Five years later, so many things have changed.  I have changed.  We have added 2 more beautiful boys to our family.  We are blessed beyond what we could have imagined.  Today, I will be thinking about Alex all day and I will play the events over and over in my head for the next few days. Kaden Wyatt Brower

He is finally here!! Kaden Wyatt Brower was born September 4th, 2008 at 2:21 am. He weighed 8 lbs. 10 oz. and was 21 in long. Everything went very well. He is amazing and Kennedi is a very proud older sister!! I will write more later. We just wanted to get these up for friends and family! Enjoy!
