2 Going on 30

This morning, I dressed Kennedi in a little cute black checkered dress that used to be my sister Kylie's. I will admit that at first I didn't really like the dress, but I thought that I would just see what she looked like in it. She was adorable. It made her look all grown up. Jerrod told me to put her hair in a little "Sarah Palin" updo, but I just figured a "messy bun" would be good enough. She really looked so dang cute. Well, you can see for yourself...




There is a cute dress underneath that matches this outer jacket.




My little boy looked very cute too. Everyone always says that he looks like a little man. So, here is a picture of the family right before church.

Livi had a dress like that when she was a little younger than Kennedi and I LOVED her in it!! You are right, Kennedi is adorable in it!! Great family picture--you look fantastic!

A VERY Significant Day

I am behind on some blogging, but I realized that I won't be able to get all of that done right now before I post this. And, I really want to post this today. Some people get the opportunity to have something so significant in their life happen that changes them forever. I am one of those people. Today is a very special day for me. My Story--10 Years

I have many titles, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, etc.  I cherish all of those titles, and try to be the best that I can be in each of those areas.  But, a title that I hold very dear to my heart is the title of "Birthmother".  Almost three years ago, I came "out" to the world that I was a Birthmother.  Close friends and family knew, but I wasn't ready to be so open about it yet.  I finally felt I was ready, and wrote my story HERE .  Please feel free to read it.  It is a long one, but it is the whole story.
