5 Wonderful Years

On April 23, we celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary.  I had previously scheduled something that I had to be out of town for, so Jerrod was kind enough to let us celebrate a day late.  I can't believe that I did that, but Jerrod said that it was okay as long as he got his "one bogie" in life.  I got home Saturday to a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a yummy dinner being cooked.  Jerrod also made a DELICIOUS cheesecake.  It was SO good.  We had already decided that we weren't going to get anything for each other because we were about to take our CA trip.  After dinner, we decided to go watch "Date Night".  That was a funny movie. 





I can't believe that it has already been 5 years.  It seems like it has not been that long, but at the same time, it feels like time has flown by.  I really am so, so lucky to have met and fallen in love with such an amazing man.  I never thought that I would get so lucky.  He is my best friend and my eternal companion.  I love being married to him.  He is also an amazing Daddy.  
Happy 5 years, Sweetheart!  I love you more than anything!  Thanks for 5 wonderful years...here's to the next 55!!

Wow,nice job on the cake Jerrod, it looks delish! I can't believe it has alread been 5 years. Time really has flown by.

A VERY Significant Day

I am behind on some blogging, but I realized that I won't be able to get all of that done right now before I post this. And, I really want to post this today. Some people get the opportunity to have something so significant in their life happen that changes them forever. I am one of those people. Today is a very special day for me. My Story--10 Years

I have many titles, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, etc.  I cherish all of those titles, and try to be the best that I can be in each of those areas.  But, a title that I hold very dear to my heart is the title of "Birthmother".  Almost three years ago, I came "out" to the world that I was a Birthmother.  Close friends and family knew, but I wasn't ready to be so open about it yet.  I finally felt I was ready, and wrote my story HERE .  Please feel free to read it.  It is a long one, but it is the whole story.
