Splish, Splash

This Summer in Texas it has been HOT. Everyone here says that it is so much hotter than normal. We have spent most of our days inside in the AC or outside at the pool. And, of course, the kids would much rather be at the pool. They LOVE swimming. Kennedi has been doing so well and has improved so much over the Summer. She wears her arm floaties, but swims around with confidence. She loves to jump in and go under the water. I am excited to get her into swim lessons when we get back home.

Kaden loves, loves, loves the water. He loves to splash and get water all over. There is a 6 inch pool for little ones and it is perfect for him. He crawls all over and has a great time. Most of these pictures are of Kaden because that is what I have on my computer right now. (Jerrod just backed up all of our photos onto DVD's and deleted them from our computer. So, I have to look for the ones of Kennedi.) Hopefully these will show you just how much Kaden really loves the water. He is a crazy kid.

A VERY Significant Day

I am behind on some blogging, but I realized that I won't be able to get all of that done right now before I post this. And, I really want to post this today. Some people get the opportunity to have something so significant in their life happen that changes them forever. I am one of those people. Today is a very special day for me. One of a few very special and significant days for me. I have only been celebrating this day for the past 7 years, but I will celebrate it for the rest of my life. Today is Birthmothers Day. My Story--10 Years

I have many titles, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, etc.  I cherish all of those titles, and try to be the best that I can be in each of those areas.  But, a title that I hold very dear to my heart is the title of "Birthmother".  Almost three years ago, I came "out" to the world that I was a Birthmother.  Close friends and family knew, but I wasn't ready to be so open about it yet.  I finally felt I was ready, and wrote my story HERE .  Please feel free to read it.  It is a long one, but it is the whole story.
