The Brower Bunch

We had a great Memorial Day Weekend this year.   We spent the weekend in Tri-cities and Ellensburg with family. My cousin Julie had her bridal shower and also went through the temple, and we celebrated Uncle Darrell's birthday.  It was so much fun to see family whom I have not seen in YEARS!  We had delicious food and a lot of fun together.  The weather was perfect that day!   Me and my Grandma Wyatt  My Mom and Dad.  I just think these two are so adorable! Jerrod and I were actually married in the Columbia River Temple, so it was so great to be able to go back there after 6 years of marriage.  We stopped by a few places to re-enact some photos that we took on our wedding day.  I think we look even better, six years later!!  I sure do love him more than I did that day.  (I didn't think that was possible!)  So, this is a photo of us on our wedding day in 2006. One night as we were getting the kids ready for bed, we found Kaden in his room, playing "Cars".  He is a VERY creative little boy.  He is always building things and creating new ideas.  Maybe he will be an inventor!   I just thought this was the cutest thing ever.  He even drove them around like they were really cars! (He and Kennedi shared a room at this time, so that is why there are girly things in there.)

Around here, we get the littlest bit excited when the sun peaks out.  It was May, and we REALLY needed to see some sun.  It finally snuck out one afternoon and I didn't want to do anything but sit outside with my kids and enjoy it.  We took some yummy treats out to enjoy as we sat on the blanket and just hung out together.  I loved it.  I loved the simplicity of it.  I loved that I wasn't worrying about how clean or not clean my house was.  I just focused on being in the moment with my children.  I really need to remember to do that more often.   At this time, (it has been WAY too long since I have blogged!!!  SAD!) Kohen just started to sit.  He was a little chunker and SO adorable!     Kennedi LOVES dresses.  She never wants to wear anything else.  She is so girly and loves to twirl around to make her dresses spin out.  I had to get a few photos of her doing that.   She really is the greates...

At the end of the school year last year, Kennedi's preschool took a trip to Salt Water State Park Beach.  We could take the whole family for a fun day.  Kaden loved it just as much as Kennedi.  But, Kennedi had absolutely no fear.  She wanted to touch every creature she could find.   The beaches here in WA are rocky.    I love them in their cute little rain boots! Kohen even came for the fun and loved being outside.  I just added these because I think he is so handsome!! We really had a great time.  I am excited to go this year.
