Happy Easter!!

Image
We hope that you all had a wonderful Easter. We had so much fun with Kennedi. It is so much fun being a parent and watching your little ones start to enjoy holidays. She, of course, didn't fully understand everything, but she understood enough to love certain parts. She loved finding and putting eggs in her basket, and eating chocolate!! On the Saturday before Easter, we went to Laurel's softball game in Wenatchee. Two of her teammates suprised the little ones with baby ducks that they recently purchased. We all know how much Kennedi loves duckies, so you can only imagine her excitement. Not so sure about the kisses, but she was very sad to see them go. Easter Sunday The Easter Bunny found us all the way in Ellensburg! Kennedi loved her new things. When she came out she went straight to her new stuff like she knew exactly what was going on. She got a little chick that chirps when you hold it in the palm of your hand, coloring books and crayons, hair stuff, sidewalk chalk and...

Quick Update...okay, maybe not so quick

Okay, okay, I am a slacker!!! I have been getting asked by so many people where the heck I have been with this thing. It is actually nice to know that people read it. But that just means that I have to work extra hard on actually keeping it up! :) That is okay, I really enjoy having it and I enjoy reading what my other friends are up to. So, I will try to keep this posting brief and let you know what we have been up to since November. We spent Thanksgiving with my family in Ellensburg. It is always fun to have all of us kids together again. We don't get to see Brent very often because he is currently playing baseball for Lewis-Clark State in Idaho, and doing VERY well I might add. And this isn't just a proud sister bragging!!! He really is AMAZING! CANCUN The weekend after Thanksgiving, Jerrod, Kennedi and I took a vacation to Cancun, Mexico! It was so much fun. Kennedi loved the sand and pool, but she didn't enjoy the ocean very much. She also loved the daqueries (virgin o...

Brower Family Photography

I am SO excited to tell you that we are starting our own photography business! This is something that we have been interested in for a while. Jerrod and I have both taken photography classes, but it wasn't until this last year that we decided to actually do something about this little passion of ours, which has ended up growing into a huge passion. We have turned our den completley into a studio. We are excited to watch this business grow, but mostly want to capture those moments that are priceless. My very good friend Shelbi is a photographer and she has taken many photos of Kennedi. Everytime we have received those photos, we are just awed at the moments that she captures. They are beautiful. We want to capture those moments for others. I thank her for her inspiration. We are working on a website now to show our galleries. We will let you know when that is ready. Thanks to all of you for your love and support!

Happy Birthday Kennedi!!!!!!!

I cannot believe that my baby is 1! It has been an amazing year. One of the best of my life. This past year has flown by. I am so blessed to be Kennedi's mommy. It has been so wonderful to watch her grow. She has changed so much. I was going to show a series of her growing, but I can't find the hard drive that we had to recover all of our old stuff onto. SO, that will come later. But, I will show you pictures from her birthday. Her birthday theme, of course, was Rubber Ducky. There were rubber ducks everywhere! It was crazy! We were able to celebrate her birthday with family and very close friends. My main project was the duck cake, and I ended up being quite pleased with it. It took about 4 hours the night before to bake the cakes and then about 4 hours the next morning to put it all together and ice it. Needless to say, I had a slight anxiety attack when we started to cut into it. haha. But, I did it for Kennedi and that was the best part. Everytime she saw it, she would get...
