Kaden's "BA"


Well, I know one thing for sure:
  My son is definitely part Wyatt.  
Yes, that is a basketball that he is sleeping with.  
He really loves balls.  He plays with them over any other toy about 98% of the time.  He wants to take them with us when we leave the house, and he wants to constantly be playing catch.  I will find him in the kitchen throwing the ball up on the counter so that it will hit the wall and roll back down to him.  When we are at the park or the gym, and he sees a ball, he lights up, yells "BA" and runs to get it.  Then, when he gets told that it isn't his, he gets pretty upset.  

Once we took a ball to the Dr.'s office to help entertain and when the Dr. came in, Kaden threw it to him.  The Dr. was pretty impressed with Kaden's throwing abilities!  :)  

My Mom has a picture of Brent when he was a toddler, asleep on the floor next to his bat and baseball.
So, when I saw Kaden asleep next to his "BA", it made me smile to think that the love for sports continues on.

A VERY Significant Day

I am behind on some blogging, but I realized that I won't be able to get all of that done right now before I post this. And, I really want to post this today. Some people get the opportunity to have something so significant in their life happen that changes them forever. I am one of those people. Today is a very special day for me. My Story--10 Years

I have many titles, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, etc.  I cherish all of those titles, and try to be the best that I can be in each of those areas.  But, a title that I hold very dear to my heart is the title of "Birthmother".  Almost three years ago, I came "out" to the world that I was a Birthmother.  Close friends and family knew, but I wasn't ready to be so open about it yet.  I finally felt I was ready, and wrote my story HERE .  Please feel free to read it.  It is a long one, but it is the whole story.
