We are Warriors!

Jerrod and I ran The Warrior Dash in July.  We had so much fun.  This run didn't even compare to The Dirty Dash that I ran the week before.  THIS was a MUD run!  The obstacles were great and there was tons and tons of mud!  We already can't wait to run it again next year.  











This was the second to last obstacle.  We got to jump over fire pits.



We aren't anywhere in this photo, we just took it to show what we were going through.  We had to crawl underneath barbed wire.  This is where I got it the worst.







We looked a lot worse, but had already washed off in the fire hose.  SO COLD!!!

A VERY Significant Day

I am behind on some blogging, but I realized that I won't be able to get all of that done right now before I post this. And, I really want to post this today. Some people get the opportunity to have something so significant in their life happen that changes them forever. I am one of those people. Today is a very special day for me. My Story--10 Years

I have many titles, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, etc.  I cherish all of those titles, and try to be the best that I can be in each of those areas.  But, a title that I hold very dear to my heart is the title of "Birthmother".  Almost three years ago, I came "out" to the world that I was a Birthmother.  Close friends and family knew, but I wasn't ready to be so open about it yet.  I finally felt I was ready, and wrote my story HERE .  Please feel free to read it.  It is a long one, but it is the whole story.
